Apple's A6 processor could be company's first custom-designed CPU core

AppleInsider writes, A report on on Saturday reveals Apple's new A6 processor is actually the company's first attempt at designing a custom ARMv7 core, possibly debunking earlier claims that the silicon was using ARM's A9 or A15 Cortex designs.
