Apple Takes More Than 50% Of Smartphone Sales In U.S.

Macgasm writes, Kantar Worldpanel ComTech’s latest smartphone data sales shows that Apple has gotten its highest ever smartphone sales share in the U.S. with 53.3% in the past 12 weeks.  According to the data, the iPhone 5 really helped boost sales.  In Europe though, Android stayed at the top with highest shares of 61% of the market, which is up from 51.8% a year ago.
