The Apple One subscription is the company's way of streamlining use of all of Apple's premium apps. For one monthly price, subscribers get full access to at least 50Gb of iCloud+, Apple TV+, Apple Music, and Apple Arcade. Evidently, storage and entertainment are the entry selling points across the Individual and Family subscription models.
Then, there's the Premier subscription. Costing a hefty $37.95 per month, it can be shared to five other people and features 2TB of iCloud+, Apple TV+, Apple Music, Apple Arcade, and, uniquely, both Apple Fitness+ and Apple News+. In the coming updates, it's the additions to Apple News+ that will bolster Premier even further, especially as it's upgrading the games offering even further.
Continuing to Enhance Apps through Gaming

Apple has known the power of games on its platform for decades. The App Store's emphasis on small-scale touch-screen games, and the ability to monetise within apps changed gaming forever. Naturally, when Apple sought to get in on the subscription game, they turned to gaming, creating the premium-level Apple Arcade, which essentially works as the Netflix of mobile gaming.
Of course, Apple Arcade isn't the only game in town. A whole host of entertainment providers have gone big on making apps that are specifically tailored to iPhone and iPad users. The iGaming industry have particularly sought to utilise apps in this way, with classic games like bingo now available across multiple platforms. For example, this bingo app states the app allows individuals to play on the go via phone or tablet, with all their usual online offerings like slots, online bingo and live casino available.
The usability of the devices has transformed the iGaming industry, and the entertainment industry as a whole, opening a new path to convenient gaming. As it turns out, people very much like having games be just a tap away. Apple Arcade has been a runaway success because of this, and now News+ app will continue to promote the Apple One service. Recently, more games were added to it, including crosswords, crossword mini-games, Quartiles, and Sudoku, with new ones there daily.
Soon, You'll Get to Flick from News to Games to Recipes

Another big addition coming to the Premier-exclusive News+ app is the addition of new sections. For example, when the iOS 18.4 and iPadOS 18.4 launches in April, the top bar of the app will also feature a Food tab. Tap it, and you'll get to roll through an extensive recipe catalogue, with the option to save recipes that you like the look of.
While available on iPhones, on iPads, this section of the app looks particularly useful. On an individual recipe page, the top features its image and some profile information, while the main page beneath shows both the ingredients list to the left and then the step-by-step instructions. In just the preview images for the upcoming update, it looks to be a very useful addition.
With News+ being $12.99 per month as a standalone app, given everything it proposes to offer, it may be enticing all by itself.
