Mobile gaming industry has grown astronomically over the last few years due to the fact that new mobile devices are now so technological advanced that they can easily run some of the big titles that only the PC or Consoles could run a few years back.

Despite the fact that many gamers on other platforms like PC and Console still think of the mobile gamers as "Casual" gamers, many big companies like Tencent and Epic games already know the potential of mobile gaming and that is why all the big titles that were, back in the days only available for PC and Console can now be played on your mobile devices.

The Best example of the some of those big titles are games like Call of Duty and PUBG, both of which can be played on your mobile devices and even one of the most famous MOBA title of all time League of Legends is expected to be released for mobile platforms which says pretty much everything that we are here for. A big part of what inspires the game developers to build such remarkable games is generating revenue, after all this is what it all comes down to, right? And even in terms of revenue, mobile games have generated more than both Pc and Console games combined and to put that into numbers, we are talking about 60% of the total gaming industry's revenue, which is just huge specially in a such a short time.

Realizing this huge potential, many of the big companies are investing hundreds of millions of dollars in this fast-growing mobile gaming industry.

Asus is even launching a whole new series of gaming phones with insane specs and design specifically to improve players' gaming experience on mobile. And Tencent, the owner of Riot Games has even got Hans Zimmer, one of the best sound composer from the film industry for their Arena of Valor mobile game title, which tells us how committed they are.

The Future seems Bright

According to the experts, mobile will dominate the future of gaming due to its high penetration rate, portability and the fact that everyone has mobile phones but not everyone can afford to build an expensive PC or buy an expensive Console just to play expensive games on it.

Games like PUBG mobile, Arena of Valor, Garena Free Fire and Call of Duty mobile have already managed to amass millions of active players to generate billions of dollars in Micro transactions for flashy in-game items like character skins, emotes and weapon customizations.

Jagex with their Runescape release can skyrocket the numbers of active mobile players with the release of Runespace's mobile version. Right after the release of the mobile versions, Runespace witnessed a massive growth in the mobile market, a lot of started to offer OSRS boosting since it became more available that it can be played on the phone. Overall, the impact is big and the future is showing everything big, we can only hope that mobile gaming keeps on delivering.
